Rock climbing on Egyeskő

The breathtaking tall walls of Egyeskő are, without doubt, a source of temptation for all „spidermen”. Recently, the climbing routes have been refurbished by the Serv-Mont-Har mountain rescue group and the climbing community of Csíkszereda/Miercurea Ciuc. In addition to that, they mounted the country's first highline path between two neighbour towers. The line is 13 m long, and bridges over 60 m of void space above the ground. The latest edition of the newly produced trilingual climbing guide, containing 25 routes, is available below as a pdf file. Most of the climbing routes are located on the tower with cross, the big tower, and the walls of the „Fridge” rock (the latter can be found in the forest). The length of the routes varies between 6 m and 50 m, with difficulties ranging from 6+ to 9+.
